A trek only for the ardent of hikers, Ha'iku stairwell was first built by the military for the defunct communication center. A two and half hour strenous hike makes it all worthwhile after looking back at the scenic revealed. The heavenly valleys of the Ko'olau mountains, H-3 Highway and the laid-back town of Kaneohe and Windward Community College rewards each hiker who dares to take this journey.
